South Malaysia Industries Berhad (SMIB) is a public limited liability company incorporated and domiciled in Malaysia and it is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
SMIB is principally engaged in property and investment holding, trading, property development and the provision of management services while its subsidiary companies are principally involved in property development, car park management and operation, manufacturing and trading of assorted wires and leasing of premises.
The Group’s property development projects and car park sites are located in Kelana Jaya, Selangor and Ipoh while its wire factory is located in Tampoi, Johor. With the cessation of the Group’s cinema business in China in 2013, the operation in China is mainly the leasing of premises.
